    First thing you need to do is get some after market gauges to monitor the coolant temp...the original gauges are worthless...that will give you an accurate idea of how hot that car is getting..normal operating temp should be around 180 to 190...then you can go from there

    I was thinking exhaust leak, replaced both header gaskets, one was blown and then double gasket'ed the collectors...should not have any leaks...but i do feel i need to tune it, it may be rich....dont think the timing is off though..

    Hey guys, just a quick question. When i am running through the gears (usually when I am on the gas a bit :) haha ) every time I shift it backfires, just one loud pop. Car seems to be running fine and the backfire sounds kind of cool but I need to know what is causing it. Thanks guys

    haha thanks for noticing, yes I taped and did the prep work on the stripes and then had a buddy paint them (he did it for free) so those cost me a total of 200.00. I did get rims also so yeah, the car is coming together. Lately I have carpeted the trunk, moved the battery to the trunk done...
