    Would a '70 clutch/brake pedal assembly work in a '68?

Both my car and his car have power front disc brakes, so I guess I have to go with option 1: Using just the clutch pedal and trimming the brake pedal. Thanks guys!

    Would a '70 clutch/brake pedal assembly work in a '68?

My uncle has a spare pedal assembly from his 1970 Mach 1 he will give me if it will work in my car, so I can do a T5 swap.

    MSD Distributor / Blaster 2

The ready-to-run distributors only have 3 wires to connect: Switched power, ground, and coil negative. It doesnt get much easier.

2amp trickle for 3hrs every night

I have to aircare my car. I aircare it before I put it away for the winter, so I can buy insurance in the spring without having to worry about aircare. In fact, I just took it through aircare last weekend, and it failed :( it was putting out 2x the allowed hydrocarbons at idle. It just...

How difficult is it to install a tach?

Easy. 1. Find a spot to mount it 2. Connect 3 (or 4) wires: Positive (red), Negative (black), ignition coil negative (green), and dash lights (white)

    What would you do if?

Really?? AWESOME! You just made my decision SO much easier. Where can I get one??

    What would you do if?

You wanted to put a T5 into your classic Mustang, but you have an original center console for an automatic. Would you? - Attempt to modify the stock console for the standard - Go without a console and sell it - Go without a console and keep it in case you ever wanted to return the...

    BIGGEST radiator size

I doubt that would fit. I got the big Griffin Stock replacement, and it barely fits.

Pertronix to MSD- that much difference?

Well the NICE thing about my MSD distributor is that it's an HEI system, and I can tune the mechanical advance springs as well as the amount of mechanical advance in no time. With the stock dist, you cannot.

Pertronix to MSD- that much difference?

My MSD ignition works pretty much the same as my old Pertronix Ignitor II did. What started working a lot better was the mechanical and vacuum advances (which were shot on the old distributor) but that's not a fault of the Pertronix.

    Phantom Grip Limited Slip Diff

I can't find an application for the Mustang on that page anywhere. I see Probe, Taurus, Focus, Festiva, Tempo, Escort, but no Mustang.

New best ET at the track for me :)

Since my track is only open for one more event this year, I will probably get some drag radials for next season during the off-season.

New best ET at the track for me :)

I will give the silver bushing and silver advance springs a shot, it's pretty easy to swap :) Next and last street legal drag event of the season is on the 23rd, so I'll fiddle with it and see if I get an improvement :)

New best ET at the track for me :)

Next time I go out I will try what you suggest and not add throttle when I let go of the brakes. Right now I have just been spooling up the converter a small amount (1200 rpm or so), and then punching the gas when the light goes green. I don't want to put money into a converter now, I want...

New best ET at the track for me :)

Thaks for the tips guys :nice: I am running the 2nd fastest curve in my MSD distributor (1 light silver and 1 light blue spring) so all timing should be in by 2500 RPM, as well I'm using the blue advance stop bushing so I should get 21 degrees mechanical advance. I'm also running 94...

New best ET at the track for me :)

Well, I finally got a powertrax no-slip locker and 3.55's in my car, and ran a best at the track of 14.94 @ 95 mph on my first run. 60' time was a ****ty 2.4, no traction and a lot of wheel hop. I know it's still nothing to brag about but I'm happy so far. Then I found out that I had...

    Phantom Grip Limited Slip Diff

I have no idea whether it's good or not, but it seems like it's only or front wheel drive vehicles or vehicles with a transaxle. For the price, i think I'd rather have my powertrax.
