    Noisy valvetrain

Just removed the valve cover and ran the engine. It took 5-10 secs for oil to appear. Should it be squirting out of there or just kinda flowing lesuirely? My oil pressure guage said it was at about 55psi.

    Noisy valvetrain

So here's the low down: I have an 86 GT, it's got GT40P heads, Crane RR's, longtube headers, flowmaster exhaust, weiand stealth intake, edelbrock 600 carb, a monster cam of some type. I raced a stock 90GT, well 4.10's and shortie headers (first race in this car) and lost by 4-5 lengths four...

On FRPP 347 crate motor you need one, I imagine for the 331 stroker you would as well.

Ported GT40P Intake and Heads on a 351W, is this a bad idea?

The heads will work, the intake won't fit. the deck on a 351 is wider then a 302.

Have you ever been pleasantly surprised by your Stang???

When I went to install the C springs in my car I found that all four stock springs were busted in two. I also discovered a wood screw in the top of the #1 piston in my older 82 GT. WOOT I own page 2 :SNSign:

    Conversion? EFI to Carb

I think it's a generalization that EFI is more reliable. My thoughts is that it was done for emissions sake. My 86 is sporting a holley 650 and I drive it all the time. I would rather tune my carb then pull codes or replace injectors anyday.

LOW LOW #s on compresion test!! HELP!!

I would guess that you do a wet compression test, same as a normal test but squirt a small amount of oil into the cylinder first then crank it over. If you see an increase of compression in the 5% area the rings are shot. If it doesn't improve then I would think the valves in the heads are the...

    Conversion? EFI to Carb

Stay with the EFI, it's better on fuel and more driveable than a carb setup. But all it takes is a new intake and a carb, low pressure fuel pump, and a bit of messing with the vacuum lines. Of course the EEC IV will hate you. http://www.jason.fletcher.net/tech/efi-carb/efi-carb.htm

    89 Mustang 5.0 Vibrates after hitting 60MPH

There is a bushing in the back of the transmission behind the flange that could be worn. I had an 89 that was vibrating badly, I replaced the whole rearend and it still did it but not as bad. I sold the car before I could get to the bottom of it though. However that bushing did need replacing...

    Autotragic can't do a burnout.

After the gears, CAI, predator tune the car is a totally different animal. It'll perform as it should now. Perhaps there was something off in the stock tune? I dunno.
