    96 GT heating up on city driving, but stays on 'N' on the higway...??

    My 96 GT does the same thing going through town, but i think it's because of the underdrive pulleys, it stays around R & A. On the highway it stays around the N & O.

    Put them on and see how low you can go and how they ride. My Eibach Sportlines are bad ass. However it sucks that the ones you have are not Eibach's.

    Recently the code cut off for a good 4 days then it came back. I don't want to replace anything that isn't broken. Ford said it will cost me about $75 for both the solenoid and purge flow sensor.

    is Ford the only place to purchase it from?

    would the solenoid make the car run weird. The car seems to lag a take off and it virbates at the stop light. The virbation can't be from the transmission because it just has been rebuilt.

    I need to know where the Canister Purge Solenoid is located. I went to Autozone and they pulled the code from my computer P1443. The troubleshooting tip was "Evaporative Emission Control System Control Value". Then I called Star Ford (Dealership) and they said it was the Canister Purge Solenoid...
