    1995 cobra hot starts issues, help needed.

    Its probably the PIP sensor in the distributor my cobra did that right before it died completely.I replaced the TFI module also with the same result

    Get a different transmission guy if he says he knows what hes doing the tranny should'nt break at the horsepower you are at .Obviously he doesnt know how to rebuilt good transmissions if they keep failing you.Also did he recomend an auxiliry trans cooler if not go to a different trans guy.

    Help ASAP!!

    Do you have the msd distributor on your car ? if so take it off they are garbage your problem is ignition related it can be a bad coil ,distributor ,wires or event the sparkplugs could be bad .have you checked all if those components

    Fluidyne WTF, POS

    join the club mine started leaking after 3 years like a gieser .I bought the summit radiator when this happened and the quality looks waaayy better for half the place of the fluidyne

    Why do FMS plug wires come with the wrong end?

    I modified mine I cut it to length and put the ends back on.I contacted FMS and they said thats the way they made it so they wont have two different kits for the same motor its dumb I know

    it sounds like you granaded the tranny it probably has a broken shift fork or something else is broken inside of it since its not the clutch its definately inside the trans

    the shop is called Santa Ana speed shop they do everything but the tune they recomended me to one of their customers that does just tunning.It worked out great.

    That could well be the problem with your car this whole time since the problem you been describing has to do with fuel the CCRM has the fuel relay and I see them go bad slowly and then they will just pop out completely.I would get another one just to check it out It wont hurt .

It will be the biggest pain in the butt to do it mainly because you have to do some rewiring for your dash (ie tach , speedometer) and modifications to your fuel system.And because of the climate you live in you run more risk of getting a vapor...

    steering wheel shake

    The wheels are aftermarket they are 18 " chrome cobra R wheels I had them for a while .It had been doing the wheel shake since I got the car with the stock cobra rims it wasnt as bad is it was before I changed the rack and pinion I did that this weekend AND THE SHAKE IS GONE:nice:
