    Think the ol' 2.3 took a crap...

    Put the scan tool on it today, tons of problems... I parked it in the driveway, and tommorow I remove the motor and tranny-- As it will be replaced with a 302. Thanks for all your help, too bad the motor bit the dust... Thanks again. :lock:

    Yes, it is a N/A motor. I suppose I could change it, but i figured that it was something else, the plugs were all dry- they were just carboned up, they would be wet, wouldnt they? Thanks

    Plug gap?

    I have a 306 with 87 heads, 600CFM carb, RPM airgap manifold, Flowtech headers, stock fuel pump, etc... What should I gap em to? One person told me .054, and another person told me .034 because it is carbed? Help please. Thanks...

    '90 LX 6-speaker - nix 3.5" or keep them?

    KEEP THE DASH SPEAKERS! Get some rockfords for 50 bucks and a warranty, cause tweeters can go out quick, and you are good to go. Sounds awesome. You take the speaker covers off with a socket on the sides of them, just one screw. (the door has to be open to get to them) Hope this helps

    A4LE=weak tranny?

    My god, it is a terrible tranny. I had one in my mustang before i swapped behind the 2.3 My complaint is all the slippage, and to make matters worse, it shifted into overdrive at like 83MPH. sad... C4!!!!
