Well, was coming home from the hospital and the car all of a sudden sky rocketed to 300 degrees, and I saw coolant gushing from the back of my car (was going 70 miles an hour) and as I was slowing down from this odd occurence my car stalled. I sat for about 10 minutes and started it and made it to my cousins house, where I saw there was oil and coolant all over. Wouldnt start, just cranked. So, I got a car trailer, went back, and it fired over, i pulled it up on the car trailer and it has a real bad miss, lopey idle.
Got it to my dads, and it started and got it into the driveway, turns out my whole radiator rotted away, so I replaced it with a 5.0 radiator, and it gushed coolant out of the resivor. Now the problem was a stuck thermostat, fixed that, and now!

It will only start sometimes, and has a bad BAD miss. The compression is 130,110, 90, and 90. the oil is fine, and the coolant is now fine, yet the motor still performs this way!

Please help, and sorry for the long post!

sounds like a head gasket. All those other problems you already fixed are probably a result of overheating it.
The bad news is that a sever overheating like that can damage the pistons.
I say pull the head and replace the head gasket. you have nothing to lose. The job is relativly easy, and parts are cheap.

I agree, at this point its better to pop the head off and go from there. who knows it may have burnt a valve or two also :( Good Luck.

Put the scan tool on it today, tons of problems...

I parked it in the driveway, and tommorow I remove the motor and tranny--
As it will be replaced with a 302.

Thanks for all your help, too bad the motor bit the dust...

Thanks again.
