    headers and t5 clutch cable???

Me and my buddy both have the Hooker Comps with cable clutches. You just have to make something to hold the cable out of the way but it is pretty simple and the routing is fine.

    EFI computer mounting location

Mine is behind the kick panel on the passenger side...just like in the Fox cars. I realize that there is no room so I made a thick sheetmetal box that is recessed into body behind the stock kick panel. You cannot even tell it is there when the plastic kick panel is installed.

    Inertia Switch questions?

The Button should be oriented up. The wiring is simple, the switch is designed to interrupt the fuel pump circuit and you can do that several ways. You can put it in either of the wires going to the fuel pump but I prefer to wire it so it turns off the relay. Ford puts it directly in the pink...

I Cant Take It Anymore Help Me!!!!!!

I know for a fact it is a 302 camshaft as I shipped it to him. I still have the cam card right in front of me because I forgot to put it in the box. It is definitely a 302 camshaft, the part number says so, and I pulled it out of a 302 just after breaking it in. It is definitely a 302 firing...

Where to get a Ford-licensed windshield gasket?

Do you have an original or replacement windshield? The gaskets that are avaiable are actually fine when used with original windshields but new windshields are much thinner and this leads to sealing problems. You just have to use a lot of goo to get the job done.

    meir racing?

There is the problem rigth there. He says the molds are bad yet continues to use them to make CRAP to keep selling to people. If he it to cheap to update the molds he needs to stop selling fiberglass parts. I see the problem now and it is SYSTEMIC at Maier. Time for people to simply stop...

    meir racing?

That is special but I am not wasting my time on companies that consistently deliver crap. My experiences with Maier fiberglass go back 25 years and none of them have been good. The newer companies are either using a newer technology or better molds because their pieces require only minor fit...

    meir racing?

Maybe they have improved lately and I don't know about it. I have a Shelby trunk and quarter extensions for a 67 coupe form Maier that fits so HORRENDOUSLY that I is not going to be used. It simply cannot be salvaged. The contour to the body lines of the trunk opening is so far off the I see...

    meir racing?

You are lucky. There service has always sucked as you have found out yourself and their products from my experience are junk because they are NOT consistent. You got lucky, or maybe these are some newer pieces and the technology to make them has improved. Everything I have ever worked with...

    meir racing?

Maier Racing makes the biggest junk figerglass in the industry and has for over 25 years. I have never had a piece from them that even came close to fitting and I have had various pieces to deal with in the last 25 years. From my experience they sell complete junk.

this doesn't sound safe to me...

There are NO bushings in a pitman arm on a V8 Mustang. You are thinking of the idler arm. I would not do this anyway as it will mess up the steering geometry. It is a bad idea to fix a problem an ILL FITTING aftermarket part creates. I have never had Tri-Ys hit the pitman arm.

    roller bearing idler arm kit

My Shelby came from the factory with a roller idler arm. When I went to replace it about 20 years ago they were not available....I guess it is time to switch back.

What did you just do that requires the brown nosing? Anyway, :nice: to 2baV8.

    Forum upgrade freaking me out....

I don't come here for tech advice but rather entertainment and to see if I can be of any assistance so if I don't like the "look/feel" of the place I am not going to frequent it. It is pretty simple.

    Forum upgrade freaking me out....

This place is now PATHETICALLY slow and so ugly it looks like something on a MAC. I think I will take a vacation until they fix it, and if it doesn't get better there are plenty of Mustang forums on the internet now.

    1966 wiring harness

That is nice for you. I have worked with the kit and I PREFER the look of the original on all except restomods where people are using their engine compartment as a "work of art" so to speak. It is my preference. I do not like some of the connectors on the painless system and I think it is...

    1966 wiring harness

The painless setup is anything but and it looks out of place unless your car is a restomod and you simply do not care. I would try to find an original under dash harness and buy all the other ones new as they get more damage from heat dirt. As far as the fog light harness, that is a...

Want a carb'd late model mod motor for your classic?

Anything that can be done with a carb can be done BETTER with fuel injection if you know what you are doing. If I was going to go to all the trouble of a Mustang II front suspension to get a mod motor in one of my Mustangs it sure wouldn't have a tunnel ram looking carb setup on it, in fact the...
