So is Mercon V the best all around out there? Better then the Redline and Royal Purple stuff?
If it's easy like you guys said, I'd like to try this out soon. Any tips or is it pretty straight forward? Do I have to drop the tranny? And where exactly is the plug you unscrew so the old fluid...
How hard is it to install subframes? And any idea on the price of a fair quality welder?
Reason I ask is because I don't have one and they aren't really cheap, I guess I could get them installed at a shop or something.
Hmmm....when I searched the part number online, it only said it was a EGR valve position sensor. https://www.rockauto.com/dbphp/mfr,MOTORCRAFT,Emission,5092,EGR+Valve+Position+Sensor
Holy hell, what are the odds? I have the same problem and was about to make a thread about it.
My car is is the same way. When I start it up and try to drive off or back up, you can hear it bog down and doesn't want to move at all. If I try to give it gas it usually stumbles and stutters...
Now that you mention it, when I start my car up and give it a little rev, it seems slow going back to 1k.
Anyone know what this means? There are no other rpm related problems.
Another question for you guys, lol.
Let's say I went with the combo I listed above. Now is this the correct Spin Tech that will fit my car?
http://www.partshopper.com/shop/Spintech-Sportsman-Street-Muffler-GT-m234.html
And does this JUST include the mufflers or tailpipes as well? I would...
Thanks for the answers guys, I have one further question I would like your opinion on.
How would this combo sound. BBK LT's, Dr. Gas X Pipe and Spintech Sportsmen mufflers?
Thanks for the replies thus far.
What should I go with?
I was orginally planning on getting LT's to extract the most power from my car but is it worth it? Not only have I read that it's generally a pain to get on, and also that it would sound horrible with a x pipe, muffler combo (what I wanted to do) I heard a sound clip...
What X pipe and cat back exhaust will sound awesome with a pair of BBK Longtube headers? I'm looking for quiet, slight rumble at idle, hardly any drone near the 3k mark and screams like a ****** at WOT.
There are so many combinations out there I don't know where to start.
What if I get x...
Whoops didn't even mention what I have...
It's a 04' Cobra Coupe.
So all those aftermarket companies are just about the same? There isn't a "this one is a lot better than this one" type of stuff?
Thanks again.
Oh okay that makes a little more sense.
What would you recommend for a handheld tuner with the custom program?
Got any more links to where it shows how it all goes down more throughly?
Thanks again all. :)
Oh one more thing. Is there a way to limit/get rid of the wheelhop? Maybe subframe connectors, shocks, etc?
Also what kind of suspension do they have stock? And what gear ratio?
Again sorry about these easy questions, just trying to get info thanks!
Oh okay that makes more sense thanks a bunch.
So this wheelhop won't really happen if you drive it easy, mildly?
Any other responses would be great guys thanks again!
Sorry to ask such a stupid question but how the hell do you tune your car?
I virtually have no clue on what your supposed to do, can anyone enlighten me? Do you have to have a dyno first before you tune it? I really have no clue.
Thanks a lot guys and sorry for somewhat hijacking the thread.
Hey all.
I was thinking about getting an 04 Cobra but I have a few questions on the IRS.
I've heard a lot about this and "wheelhop" What exactly is this? That is bad I'm guessing?
Was the IRS a GOOD idea from SVT?
I've heard something about the IRS limits the power you can have...
