    My uncle just picked up roller 351 but will not be able to do anything to it for a while, what heads come stock on these? I heard they were E7s that were drilled for 1/2" studs.

    That is true however if you are in California the GT40P will not pass the visual because they do not have the holes for the EGR tubes in the rear of the heads. You could have them drilled for them or rig something up so they look like they are there.

    Its a 91 5.0 with an AOD. My uncle drove it on about a 2 1/2 hour trip and when he got there he pulled it in the garage.     Just picked up a set of these with practically brand new Crane Gold 1.7 rockers for a good price. Just wondering if anyone has used the aluminum versions and if they were improved any over the cast iron versions? Also what did you think of these heads?

    Are you looking at the stock tach? If my stock tach says 7k then my autometer is in the 5ks. Stock tach is inaccurate the faster you are spinning.
