    Exhaust modification question.........

Ill start off by saying that my mustang is my daily driver. But now that I have become addicted to the strip (hello, my name is Will, and I am a drag-junkie), I would like to benefit from the gains that can be found freeing up the exhaust. But I dont want to shatter eardrums/wake the...

T-town isnt too bad. I grew up in Atlanta/Queen City area about 15-20 miles away. I moved off for a while(Navy), and now I live just north of QC about 15 min away from Texarkana....T-town is getting BIG(for this area)! We should definately try to meet up. Just let me know when you might...

Yeah, this track is about 15 miles outside of Shreveport, Louisiana. Its not great, but its not bad. My only complaint really is the water-boxes..... Not sure if i can make it to that race....we'll see.....

Yeah, im sure Red River Raceway isnt a premier track. I didnt really expect it to be givin its location(between Hosston and Gilliam, LA....two VERY small towns). I dont suppose I noticed the dip....I was probably concentrating too much on keeping it straight and off the wall to notice. I...

I see. There was no bypass @ this track. There is a perpendicular depression/trench/ditch at the beginning of each lane. Before nearly every race, they would spray it down with a hose. The only way to sort of avoid the water was to pull into each lane on the inside. You would think the guy...

Wow! Thanks for all the input! :SNSign: Rules! Shermie: HAHAHA I was thinking that myself! I got my best times in the left lane! I wasnt going to say anything though. I think the launch is where I have the most improvement to make. And I was doing absolutely no powershifting, so I...

One more question, and I'll try to leave everyone alone.......... When launching a five speed with 4.10's, is it suggested to run first gear near redline, or shift once the RPM's are high enough to put 2nd gear at like 3200+? Thanks again to all that have given input!

Red River Raceway near Gilliam, LA (its the only 1/4 track remotely close). http://www.redriverraceway.net/ I wanna race with Ashley Force...well I wanna do more than race with her. Im positive I'll get better....once I get comfortable on the track. Im still a little tenced(sp) up and...
