    What top end?

    I don't know too much but I would go with the AFRs, custom cam, and Holley intake. If I am not mistaking, the Trickflow top end kit was designed for a 302. I just can't see your 331 performing to its potential. Correct me if I am wrong though:shrug:

    TO bearing question

    Buy a steel retainer bearing. The factory one is aluminum and the TOB wears a groove in it. This is what caused the chirping I had.

    Actually an R6 will stand up when you just get on it. I have seen my cousin do it numerous times. Let me say this. NO ONE NEEDS A LITER BIKE. What is the purpose of having 1000ccs over 600 or even 750ccs.? When a motorcycle can easily go 140 in third gear you don't need more than that...

    aerostar aluminum driveshaft

    Let me get this right. You swapped out both u-joints on the Aerostar d-shaft for the NAPA u-joints, and then transfered the yoke and the rear part from the Mustang d-shaft to the Aerostar d-shaft? I have one sitiing in my garage waiting to be done also.

    Quick t-stat question

    This may sound pretty dumb, but which way does it go in? Does the spring face the intake or the radiator? Sorry, I tore apart the front of my motor to replace the timing chain gasket and t-stat and when I took it out I didn't note which way it was in there. Thanks, Eric.

    If you do a search, somewhere on here someone posted a chart that tells ya which gear you need. And I believe 5.0 Resto sells the speedo gears.
