    find someone with an MSD 6AL box and try hooking it up if you cant come up with anything else. If that doesnt work its probably a fuel problem.... filter/pump/dirty injectors/clogged regulator.

    as for hissin, it a non adjustable cheap walmart light but it works so it cant be the light... and the spout connector, when taken out does bring the timing marks closer to range of the pointer but not actually within the range of marks.
