    i talked to the guy and he said they didn't use blades. that the tint was on real tight. and possibly the tint had messed up the filaments when they removed the tint. he said there was nothing they could do and it happens some times.

    i have the lm-1. it is a good piece. if i remember correctly you need the rpm converter to log the six(1 ground 5 aux) channels. and if i am correct that is how you datalog things other than just afr with the lm-1. but as mr. grady said you'll need something to access the pcm and change values.

    the j4j1 stock values show 5.5 liters and zao 4.125 liters. so would it be safe to say that the cobra r has a shorter runner intake and the cobra has a longer runner intake?

    i called afr about this and they recommended cometic head gaskets. the gaskets can be made to different thicknesses. i am concerned about piston to valve clearance also when i do my cam swap.

    get your self a copy of eec analyzer. it has a wealth of info in the help tabs. and is an excellent tuning tool that will make recommendations based off your datalog. eectuning.org is a great site also. i myself have not used the yahoo forum so i could be missing out? jake

    i had to cut a chunk out of the rear of my 4" harwood to get the box r to fit. don't know about cervini hood either?

    i am using a 3550. no problems as of yet. my neighbor says he had a 3550 and used to dump the clutch a 4000 with his 393 setup and never had problems.
