    That's exactly my point, I'm hoping I can kill 2 birds with one stone with my H/C/I, more power and stopping my oil issue :) That is... if valve seals are the problem On the contrary, if rings are the problem, I'd hate to bolt up a nice new H/C/I only to still burn oil.     So my 5.0 burns oil, about a quart every 600 miles. A little background, the car has 70,000 miles on it, compression is excellent on every cylinder, and one spark plug appeared oil fouled. It only seems to smoke on a hard accel or a downshift, this points to rings but it seems wierd that one...

    I wasnt aware so many people felt this way too :shrug: Everywhere I go I hear "5.0 or bust" in regards to sound. I kinda like the burble/ ruunning underwater sound, especially at idle / deccel :hail2: sounds so bad ass. 5.0s idle too damn quietly/tamely (until a cam gets into the picture)
