    If i switch the front 02 sensors and the problem goes away then can I permanently drive with the 02 sensors switched? I remember each sensor being color coordinated to its proper plug, and according to the inbreeds at ford, each sensor has a different calibration so I can't just buy a sensor...

    Thanks for all of the replies. Yeah I changed my fuel filter hoping that was the problem but it wasn't. All the vacuum hoses and bolts around the throttle body, intake plenum etc. look tight. I bought an 02 sensor and I'm still waiting for it to come in. It's so weird how the car runs flawlessly...

    Thats the only code that i've consistently had pulled. The code 1780 was pulled too but only once. when i recently had the codes pulled again, that one didnt show up. it was 1151 and i THINK 1152. either way im starting to think the MAF is bad. i read that if you unplug the MAF and the car dies...

    No I have one code dealing with the O2's and one code dealing with the trans control. I just recently had the codes pulled because I was sick of this problem coming and going. It's gotten worse lately but it has been doing this since the car was bone stock.

    You're right its the trans I'm sorry. How should I go about fixing this problem? As far as the O2 sensors...both codes are being tripped at the same time. Would the trans control have anything to do with the shift kit? I don't see how considering its been doing this since stock.

    Yeah the throttle position sensor is out of range, not transmission. My exhaust doesn't sound like their is a leak.     Anyone know which sensor it is? I just took out the front drivers side sensor and its completely black. Is this the sensor that tripped the computer?
