    7qt Pan For 351w In A 66?

Look at the Canton 7 quart road race pan for a front sump 351w. Same height as the stock 351w pan with side kickouts and slosh protection. Fits the early Mustang chassis/suspension perfectly without issues. If your dipstick isn't in the timing cover it still has you covered as there is a...

    Drivetrain 66 With 5.0 Engine

I'm sure that it is worthwhile, but to tell you the truth I've disregarded it since the only way I thought it could be fixed was by having the bell remachined. Not easy to find someone who can do it correctly around here. If you find it way off and you can fix it properly then I'd say go for it.

    What Cfm Needed?

Is you just want a simple answer, I'd say a 600 Holley with vacuum secondaries would work for you. If your car has an automatic, look for one that has the correct transmission kick down linkage for a Ford. IIRC is short for "If I Recall Correctly." Its often used on social media when the...

    What Cfm Needed?

Probably on the big side unless your a drag racer and your car is set up for it. Original carbs were around 480cfm IIRC. We would need to know more information about any changes that have been done to the motor, the car, and what you expect out of the car in order to give you a better answer.

    Flex Plate Or Flywheel

First of all, lets discuss the engine as you need to identify it correctly to get the correct parts. The engine known as a 5.0 didn't first come out until approximately 1985. Those motors use a 50oz imbalance crankshaft/balancer/flexplate or flywheel. A 1978 motor is properly called a 302...

    Drivetrain 66 With 5.0 Engine

I use the later clutch fork pivot with my 68 fork in a 15200. Use the factory stuff right out of the old bellhousing I had for a 69' 351w. I haven't used those dowels but they are supposed to be worlds ahead of the Lakewood type. Hopefully your bell is close to the desired alignment since...

    Drivetrain 66 With 5.0 Engine

I too prefer the later 68' style SBF fork instead of the 66' bale wire which can present issues. I too have upper and lower adjustment rods. Most of my adjustments are done at the upper one since it is the most convenient. The 15200 doesn't need a reduction ring with a toploader. They...

    Drivetrain 66 With 5.0 Engine

I am somewhat familiar with the adapter that you have for the z bar but never needed to use one. You might need to modify the Lakewood slightly for it to clear the block flange. The 15200 is perfect for a toploader. Its the same depth as the stock bellhousing that was used in the 66'. Its...

Progress Thread Front Frame Rail Fixture ...and More

Your always giving it the extra mile! Cool idea for a common problem. Do you install the doors and fenders during alignment? I hope the Dynacorn shock towers were assembled better than mine (watch that driver's side.) I'll be keeping an eye on this project.

Interior and Upholstery A New Fiberglass Project For For 69-70 Fast Back /sport Roof Mustangs

Sounds like you need something epoxy based. That normally creates heat too and would be hard to get off if it doesn't work out.

    Sloppy Shifter

Yep, the Comp plus is a proven performance piece and works extremely well on a 4 speed. I still use them for drag racing and have been quite successful kicking butt each week against the automatic/stick cars in the modified class. In the old days there were other good options but most of those...

Electrical 65 Alternator Dash Light Problems

Your front parking lights are working correctly for a 65/66 Mustang. They go out when the headlights are on-that is the way they were originally designed. The turn signals should always work with the key on.
