    1979 mustang GT makeover

Yeah, I'd definately leave it with the original nose. Once you tear into it, you'll find there are going to be a lot of little problems with converting it, wiring headaches, bracketry, etc. The cowl also won't line up with a later model hood. And the interior would look off too. Like hissing...

Glad to hear you got it in and got it running good. Be easy on that 7.5 rear though.

    4.2L 255 from 81 Mustang

Yeah, I'd definately recommend posting about it on foureyedpride.com. Prolly get a little more information there though not many people there run the 255's either.

    4.2L 255 from 81 Mustang

I would strongly advise staying away from the 4.2. It's a disaster waiting to happen. Hell, you can pick up a junkyard non ho (and sometimes a rare ho) block out of a crown vic for a couple hundred $$.

    Seat Alternatives

That's WAAAY out of my budget. I just want some decent seats to replace the stock ones which have zero side support and are falling apart.

    Seat Alternatives

The seats in my convertable are in...well....sad shape. I don't really want to recover them but I don't know what else to do for seats. Picking up some 94+ seats would be my first choice but I need red. I'd like corbeau's or something of that nature but that's way out of my budget and I'd rather...

    CFI Help

Alright, figured I'd try this again. Looks like I'll be able to hang onto my 84GT a little while longer and I want to get this cfi issue resolved once and for all. I mean this car was obviously meant to be a reliable easy to drive car with CFI and an AOD. Runs great when you first fire it...

    V6 AutoMatic

I have a superior transmissions shift kit in my 6, install was about 2 hours laying on my back to get the valve body out. It's funny how much it amazes people when an automatic v6 barks the tires going into second.

    Blue oval control arms....???

I plan on getting a set of those for my 83 this summer. I've bought from them in the past, excellent service, def buy from them again.

    05 Mustang, the next classic?

That is the most absurd thing I've ever heard. So you're telling me that only a 65 shelby is a classic and the 6 cyl's and 289's are just old cars? :nonono:

I like my superior transmission shift kit. Very good price and performance. Now if only I could find a nice torque converter for sale.

Tires and Rims for 02 Stang.

The wheels look great. I have the G-force KDW's on mine and like them a lot. You should be very pleased with them.

    my 4x4

I used Steeda Sport Springs (some argue they're the same as ford c springs, no one really knows) And bullitt shocks and struts on mine. Pretty good setup, gave a decent stance and didn't compromise ride quality too much. Also no alignment issues, any lower and I'd need caster/camber plates...

New pics of the 65 under the lights
