Is the (+) positive side of the coil a good 12 volt source?

Wrong. Electric fans need to be plugged into a fused block, and not the original fuse block that is 40 year old wiring. It also has to be a switched source for the 12V such as off of the ignition switch. Black with blue stripe if I remember correctly. If you hook that electric fan to the...

    Need advice! 351C fouls plugs....

You guys have honed in on the carb being too big, and it really is, but that in itself won't make the plugs clog. That will just wash down the cylinders and waste gas. That fouling is caused by burning oil. And in this case, a lot of oil. Look at those clogged plugs and see what color they...

    65 Mustang Doors

If you do find some original doors, most likely there will be rust issues with them even in California because the car they come off of will most likely have been left out in the elements. If your doors are good to go other than the apparent damage, I believe I would re-skin them.

metal Go to a computer store and see if they will give you the old hulls from the old puters that were traded in. That metal on the outside of the computers will give you a good feel for welding thin metal without burning through.

    Steering Wheel?!

wheel You can get your original wheel refurbished, but that will cost you more than a nice new aftermarket wheel. If you prep that paint by getting it super clean then use vinegar on it, then self etching primer, then paint. it should last you for a number of years.
