    how to visually tell the difference between 03 cobra crank and stock

    how can i tell by looking at the two. i read the cast crank has seams cast into it and the forged crank has no seams. how else can i tell. i know that some cast iron cranks can be 8 bolts too so that would not be a good way to know for sure

    there are some pistons a guy has locally but he says they are not forged but they are dished. he also has flat tops. didn't think they made dished hyper pistons.

    my trans is original and never rebuilt. if you take care of it with regular flushes and don't drive it like a mad man all the time, it will last. 100,000 on the car now. it's a 2000 model. i'm not saying i drive mine great but i do my best.

    putting a v2 on the 2000 soon. do i need to do anything with the vacuum lines to not send boost to things like egr,emmissions,hvac. also is clamping all hoses nec.

    i did the j mod and installed a 3600 stall with 410's. and also puttinga v2 as soon as i find a fuel pump. j mod is where you drill 5 or 6 holes bigger in the stock seperator plate of the valve body. it allows more flow of fluid and higher pressures to quickly shift 1-2 and 2-3.

    so you changed the maf sensor also if you are using the cobra injectors you have to use the maf that is calibrated for those. if you are then look for vacuum leaks. did you have a returnless fuel system on your car before and now.

    ok i am bringing this back since nobody replied to it. i too need to know if i can use the terminator 39 lb. injectors with the adaptors without troubles on a 2000 2v. going to be putting 9 psi down and need to know asap.

    i know a guy in our local club that did the aviator 4v swap and he did all the wiring himself and finally got it right. i will let him know if you can pm me a cell number i can get you in touch. he had the same problem.

    hello, i just put a stall in the 2000 and ever since then it starts out in 2nd gear unless i manually shift it. it also shifts way too soon and locks up to soon. can i change this with a tuner to make it start out in 1st again in drive position or is that a custom tune thing.
