Brake pulsation after 3rd gear runout

Well it's coming from the brakes/rotors, because it vibrates when the clutch is in (neutral). I have since retorqued all the lug nuts, so I'll have to see if that does anything. Now, if the rotors are truely warped, what do you suggest I do? Get them turned? What about the rear drums? Could...

Brake pulsation after 3rd gear runout

Thanks for the replies. I'm going to have to test it out tomarrow, but which should I be hoping for? Would you consider the vibration normal if it were in gear when braking? If it were in neutral, and that suggests there's something wrong with the brakes, I guess I should hope that I had...

Brake pulsation after 3rd gear runout

Hmm, great question. I have no idea whether or not I put it in neutral when braking. I'll have to test that **** out.

Brake pulsation after 3rd gear runout

I'm not sure how long this has been going on, but I know it hasn't always been like this. Anyway, whenever I run my car Full Throttle from 1st-3rd till about 90+, when trying to slow down, the brakes cause the steering wheel, console, and pretty much the whole car to pulsate and shake violently...

Hahaha I am JUST about to order a TFS intake kit with a 75mm tb. Should I go with a 70mm instead???? I'm going to need some more convincing guys!

Some new pics of my Stang before Winter storage HUGE DUW *PICS*

Nice! :nice: Did you paint your intake, tb, a/c, etc or are they semi-polished? The black engine bay makes it look really clean.

    Help me identify

I was wondering what the broken white line in the picture is for. It looks like it has something to do with emissions but I wasn't sure. I know it's been broken for some time now though; how important is it?

MAF Sensor/TB Sizes - Intake Upgrades

Great thanks. I was planning on ordering the tb along with the intake so I won't put the tb on early. Where's the best place to go about buying a pro-m maf? I'd like to keep the stock airbox and get a new satin maf-tb tube to fit like the C&L kit I was looking at, that is if I don't just go...

MAF Sensor/TB Sizes - Intake Upgrades

Thanks for the reply. Could a 70mm or 65mm tb be used on the trickflow intake that has a 75mm inlet? I don't plan on making that kind of hp so I want to stay away from overkill.

MAF Sensor/TB Sizes - Intake Upgrades

I will be starting to upgrade air induction on my stock 93 soon, and I was wondering about maf/tb diameters in relation to mods done on an engine. Eventually I want to go with a TrickFlow street intake as soon as I get some cash, but in the meantime I was looking at the C&L 76mm MAF and...

    Where's your temp gauge run?

Mine runs a fraction of a mm above the half-way notch on the stocker. Anybody know what temp that is? I was never really concerned about it, but I think the whole gauge reads 130-270°. Edit: midpt 200°. Should I be worried...?

Off road H-Pipe or High Flow Cats

If emissions is not an issue, I'd definately go without cats. It's not going to screw up anything, just swap over the o2 sensors. Besides emissions testing, the only drawback to not having cats is loudness (if you don't like that) and the more gaseous smell (if you don't like that either)...

    T-5 fluid?

What do you guys think of DXIII Maxlife synthetic? That's what I use. Also, when you're rethreading the fill plug, don't pull a "me" and crack the tranny casing by tightening the plug too much.

    How many quarts/Tranny fluid change?

You'll be safe buying 3 qts for the T5. I think it's 2.7 to be exact. I never knew AOD's could hold so much fluid...

Dammit, I Broke My Door Lock Actuator Clip

I had the exact same thing happen to me. I think I tried glueing it back on but that didn't work too well, so I got some wire and wired the loose side of the actuator to the arm that was still intact, went around a few more times, and knotted it. I know it's major ghetto-rig, but it works, and...
