    I have a mechanical autometer oil pressure inside my car. I used the copper tubing kit and sheathed it inside some rubber vaccum line. Works fine. As long as you don't have any tight bends that might kink the tubing and insulate it with some rubber hose so it doesn't chatter or rub on anything...

    I don't have a picture, but my '87 GT has an LX wing. It was on there when I bought it. When I was getting ready to paint it a couple of years ago I bought a GT wing, but ended up just re-selling it because I liked the lower profiel look of the LX wing better.

    Just removing the smog pump and it's componets shouldn't set the light off. What all did you remove???

    gas gauge not working

    Mine has been like that for five years. The two most likely culprits are the sending unit in the tank or the slosh module on the back of the cluster. I just reset my trip odometer every time I fill up an live with it.

    Yes the AOD has a lockup convertor and no the computer doesn't control it in anyway.

    First thing that pops in my head is that maybe while doing the body work he disconnected the battery while having the doors open so as not to run the battery down. That would have reset the computer and it will take it a few miles to "re-learn" it's settings.

    I have a 19,000 GVW B&M cooler on my bone stock AOD. Worth every penny. I would get the 24,000 GVW if I had it to do over. The bigger the cooler the better.
