    The only big bright side, is that this has gotten enough attention that it could be a big election issue. At the very least, they should spend all that tax money on the roads! Driving around in Quebec is like driving around on the moon, you've got potholes so big you can lose a truck in them...

    First of all, if you only stopped going to Petro Canada and Shell Canada, all that would do would hurt the merchants involved. Secondly, all the gas companies are getting their fuel from the same source, as they share the refineries. That means while you are damaging one or two merchants...

    Actually, its not paying more for gas, its paying more for plates. Montreal is usually pretty high compared to the Gatineau area.
