    I'm ordering a Bassani X-pipe w/cats this weekend. Should I go with the stainless or the aluminized ones? The stainless is $150 more. Since I live in Southern Cal. do I need to go stainless?

    I asked the same question the other day and the responses I got were all in favor of the g-force. Yobi, do you have pics of your car? Looks good in your avitar. One reason I like the g-force is I can reuse my B&M ripper and bellhousing.

    Yeah, ebay is risky when it comes to buying cars. Prokiller are you running the stock block? I am looking into a new 331/afr/rpm intake this summer. I'll be keeping the blower so I know I'll being approaching the limits of the stock block.

    Aftermarket rotors- Are They Alll the same??

    I just purchased new front 13" rotors for $55 from e-bay. My new cobra calipers and ss lines are being shipped right now. I'll let you know how the rotors work when I get them installed.

    I'm thinking about upgrading to a g-force t-5 when I pull the stock motor and drop in a 331/347 stroker in a few months. How do you guys like the tranny? Will it hold 450rwhp? Lets hear some opinions...

    BLOWN AND STROKED

    Post dyno #'s when you get that set up completed. I'm doing a 347 with AFR 185's and Novi 2000 this summer. I think 450rwhp should be no problem. Good luck.

    I saw an article in MM&FF. They used B&D Racing in Canoga Park for a brake install. Anyone heard of this shop? I'll check out Powertrain Dynamics too. Thanks for the info.

    Installer/tuners in Los Angeles area...

    Can anyone recommend a good shop in the L.A. area? I'm doing a new 331/347 (not sure yet) longblock this summer. I will also be uprading to 42# inj and new mass air so I'll need a tune to get it all running. I would prefer to get the combo installed and dyno tuned from one shop.

    oil problems

    check the plug that attaches to the sender. Mine comes loose now and again. The gauge would drop all the way down when I goit on the gas. Kinda freaked me out at first...

    cobra brakes...

    NE1 know if the cobra brake kit will clear my 17" tribars? I'll be upgrading the wheels later but problably not for a while. Merry Xmas...:)

    90mm MAF

    It may be easier to just go with a pro-m 80mm and 36# injectors. I'm not looking for huge hp, around 400rwhp for a fun weekend street car would be good.

    Will a Lightning 90mm MAF work with a stock ECU? I'm planning on a 331 stroker next summer and there are some good deals on 42#inj + 90mm MAF combos. If this won't work what do you guys suggest? With the demise of Pro-M will I be ok with a C&L 76mm on a blown 331?

    Yup, the novi sticks out more than a vortech. I had to notch the fan motor to get it to fit even with stock rad.
