    Question regarding COBRA intake bolts & spacer???

    I am using a GT-40 intake on my car with a 1" spacer, and I have two long bolts in the middle, and 4 short bolts front and back. Just buy the spacer, and if it has the wrong bolts, just run down to the local hardware store.

    The 1250 matches really good on the top and bottom and the corner radius is really close, but the sides of the gasket hang over just a bit, thats why I ordered a 1262 gasket. If you want, I will post pics of that gasket when it gets here.

    I just help a friend rebuild his, and It was a piece of cake(for the most part). Just remove the s spring, all the spider gears, replace the shims and clutches(follow the instructions), put it all back together. Putting in that s spring was more then a PITA. It took us forever to get it back...

    Its real simple, it will take less then 5 minutes. Just jack up the rear end, and while your buddy rotates the tire one revolution, count how many times the drive shaft rotates. ie 1 turn of the tire = 3.73 turns of the drive shaft. It may be a little off if you have bigger or smaller tires...

    I have an adjustable cable, aluminum quadrant, and a firewall adjuster, and my pedal is the same way. Dont know why that is, but I guess I just got use to it. :shrug:
