    fuel pressure problems

    It is a auto meter and no cel...But the gauge is right i think because it runs fat as hell when it is up around 50psi. and my wideband read 10. something range when the pressure is up, when i am driving down the road:shrug:The car loads up at red lights when the pressure is up.

    Can any one tell me what would make the fuel pressure go up at idle.. My pressure is at 30 to 35 at idle when it is right. After driving the car i will stop at a light and the pressure go up to 42psi and if i let the car sit and idle i have seen it as high as 55psi.. So after the light turns...

    This is the box i made for mine two ten's. It fits between the amps in the back with the ten's facing the back of the car.

    Is the spare tire the same height as the stock tires??? If not you ran around for 2 weeks with the drive side tire turning faster then the pass side... I feel bad for your differential:shrug:

    Cams are not a waste i make very good power with my vt sage 2 cams....Their are a lot of ls1 cars that think i am spraying the car.:shrug:

    Here is a pic of all the parts for the intake.. If you look you will see a new 90deg hose and a short pipe next to it... that is how you hook you the upper hose

    You said that you have cams right, do you have ported heads? If all you have is cams the intake would not do much for you..... The main thing for me was i am going to spray the car and did not like the stock intake..I can fell the diff between the stock one and the trickflow but i have heads...

    I made 308rwhp and 311rwtq before the intake swap.... I have not retuned the car.. I am putting a n/x kit on the car and will redo the motor tune at that time:nice:The car pulls harder for 4500rpm to 6500rpm with the new intake:D

    wat times SHOULD i be running?

    I ran a best of a 12.9 with bolt-ons. So with a 100 shot i say low 12 high 11 would be right. That is without the heads and cams in my sig... The car was making 270rwhp at the time.

    I launch at 4000-4500 rpm and shift at 6300 rpm with my new heads and cams.. when the car was bolt on i shifted at 6000 rpm

    I ran 13.08 with just bolt ons in my 03...That was before the heads and cams.. I have ran the nittos and the e.t street radial. The nittos hook ok for bolt on cars, and do great in the rain.. But the e.t. street radials do hook better on the street but suck in the rain... I would run nittos on...

    Strictly tuned my car 2 years ago when it had just bolt ons. it is a ok shop... i have alot of friends that go to PSI. that is how i started going there... The car will be going back there in a few weeks to put the intake on and retune it.

    All the things in my sig but the heads and cams. I also run e.t.streets and hit it out of the hole at 4000rpm+.
