Can any one tell me what would make the fuel pressure go up at idle.. My pressure is at 30 to 35 at idle when it is right. After driving the car i will stop at a light and the pressure go up to 42psi and if i let the car sit and idle i have seen it as high as 55psi.. So after the light turns and i take off the pressure stays high for a few miles down the road at speed it will go back down to the right pressure but if i have to stop at a light again it will start to go back up??? The car has a stock pump with 24lb inj.

what kind of gauge are you using, and are you sure the gauge is accurate? if you have no CEL, then i would think the gauge is messing up.

It is a auto meter and no cel...But the gauge is right i think because it runs fat as hell when it is up around 50psi. and my wideband read 10. something range when the pressure is up, when i am driving down the road:shrug:The car loads up at red lights when the pressure is up.
