    towing my mustang

I have a friend that has towed a car to the track and back with a S-10, don't know if it was the best idea but the truck pulled it there and back with no issues. And you are more then likely going to get a lot of **** from the Chevy guys when you show up towing a Ford.....

Hey everyone, Is there any way to either look or measure the valve reliefs to determine how large of a valve will fit? Thanks,

Cracked block, what can be done? **PICS**

I'll give ya $501 ha :D but no I agree with all the above, just a bad gasket. The reason it sprays out coolant right there is because that is where one of the ports is for circulating coolant.

Fly Wheel Balance... Am I in trouble?

The flywheel only goes on one way, just put it up to the crank and spin the flywheel until all the bolts line up. When your just looking at the holes they all appear to be the same distance apart from each other but there not.

    Mac long tube headers...

I had them before, the first time then went on they fit great, then after getting hot the next time they came out and went to put them back in I couldn't get the holes to line up with the heads to save my life. After fighting with that anytime I needed to take them out I switched to Hooker Super...

    Cylinder Head Issue....

Alright, thanks for the input everyone. Seeing as the weather prevents me from driving the car anyways looks like I will just not waste my time with those heads, and save up over the winter for some aluminum heads; maybe afr's or something along those lines.

    Cylinder Head Issue....

[/IMG] I don't have a head gasket to put up against it. I dont believe that shaving down the head would be an option, I just had the heads milled down not to long ago and the machine shop said that they went as far as they could before I would develop ptv issues.

    Cylinder Head Issue....

Hey everyone, I had my heads standing up and one head fell over; when the head hit the cement floor it put a chip in the bottom machined surface area. The chip at the widest point is 1/4 inch and starts in the combustion area then extends towards the outside (exhaust side) approximately a 1/4...

    Time for a dumb question.......

You can change the timing chain without removing the oil pan, but you have to do some hacking of the gaskets and put in the repair gasket that usually comes with the timing cover gasket set.

    power estimate/ other possible ideas???

I agree with Killer, if anything your just going to have a little more throttle response, it will rev up a little faster. My car when it was 100% factory when 14.9 in the 1/4, then I did pretty much the same parts as you and I went 14.8, but who knows that could have just been a fluke and I...

no crank after aod to t5 conv

Do you have the correct wiring harness that goes to the transmission? or are you trying to rig up the one from the auto? Cause when I did the aod to t5 conversion I ran into the same problem so I had to go to the bone yard and find a harness for the t5 then my car started right up.

    Tires for 17x9 Cobra Rs

I have toyo proxes 4 - 245/45/17 all the way around on my 17x9 cobra's and they rub a little in the front when at full lock. The tire is not stretched, IMO 255's might be a little rough on the front.

    starting issue...confused!

Hm, the only other thing I can say is agreeing with everyone that said starter. The starter could be drawing to much current. Buy a new starter, put it in and see if it fixes the problem (wouldn't return the core until you find out), if not pull it out and get your money back.

    starting issue...confused!

Could be the cable it self is bad, I would replace the cable and see if it makes a difference.

How Do I Install An Oil Pressure Gauge?

I have mechanical and I have ss braided line run from the original oil pressure hole in the block through the firewall to the gauge in the vent. If the gauge is mechanical I wouldnt use that thin plastic line that you pick up at the parts store, I would get some SS braided teflon line. IMO I...
