    A 5.0 is a 5.0, a CAI is gonna do the same thing on them, whether it's a Fox or SN95. FWIW, I had a BBK CAI on mine for a while, I loved it. The only reason I got rid of it was because my stock maf took a dump on me, and I switched to a Pro-M.

    Mine actually ended up being the main ground was loose. Might wanna check that REAL good first if you're having hot start issues. I checked mine, and it was tight, but not tight enough. It's gotta be TIGHT!

    The lowers are the most important for drag racing, uppers more for auto-x. You could just do some lowers and replace the bushings in the uppers, a lot of guys do that. I replaced both on mine however.

    When I took my smog equipment off, I put a belt on that was too tight. It squealed on start up EVERY time! I put on a little longer belt, and it went away. So I'm gonna vote that it's the belt.
