    Steering/ Suspension Suggestions/ Opinions

I don't know where you're located, but if you're anywhere near a big city, you probably have a local rack rebuilder who can replace the inner tie rods and rebuild YOUR rack so you don't have to play the parts store lottery. Outer tie rod ends, whatever. Pick one and don't pay the lowest price.

    Low Profile Hydraulic Jack

I've been parking the car on 1x12 boards for years, so I could get my low-profile jack under the K-member whenever I wanted to. I just switched to these: View: https://www.amazon.com/Discount-Ramps-6009-V2-Plastic-Service/dp/B00UHLPES0

    Overheating Issues - Water Pump?

Water pumps almost never just stop flowing like they should. If they go, they'll usually piss coolant out the weep hole. But if you're bound an determined to change it, just be VERY careful because some of those bolts like to seize and break off in the timing cover. So if any of them give me...

    Overheating Issues - Water Pump?

Which way is the water flowing through the radiator? How is the belt routed? The flat non-ribbed side of the belt is what should be riding on the pulley. It's possible the belt is routed incorrectly, and if the ribbed side is driving the pump pulley, it's driving it backwards. If it's...

Pics Of Cobra Intake I Found And Ordered

Exhaust Gas Recirculation is used to displace some of the air (and therefore oxygen) in the intake charge to reduce the amount of fuel used during part throttle cruise. The factory tune is expecting it.

    What Are These Suspension Parts?

The technical term was "anti-tramp rods", as wheelhop was often known by engineers as "axle tramp". They're there to control the oscillations that lead to wheelhop due to driveline shocking. They're basically the factory version of slapper bars everybody ran on their '72 Novas.

    Clutch Cable Install Please Help

Yet another reason to NEVER buy ANY aftermarket adjustable cable. They are not constructed like the factory one and just don't operate as freely.

    Clutch Cable Install Please Help

It should make a fairly straight sideways "U" from the firewall, forward of the headers, down, then back near the engine mount, straight at the clutch fork. If it bends any other way anywhere, it's wrong. Including using the bracket to tie it to the inner fender. If that's causing it to bend...

Or it DID get gutted and he didn't use the FRPP plug. It needs that plug or it's likely to leak fluid out and air in.

Fox Foxbody And A Bunch Of Cool Cars On Road Course

Well, it's not racing, it's HPDE or High Performance Driver Education. NASA, PCA, and BMWCCA all have good programs that get people on track for $150-$300 a day, depending on geography. SCCA has "track night in america" which is well-intentioned but makes me cringe at how little instruction...

Help! 1992 Early Vs Late K-member: Which Motor Mounts???

IIRC they made the change to all-vert mounts in 1990. Your old mount is a pre-'90 hardtop mount. The convertible style mounts are way better, but also shorter.

How To Route Your Spark Plug Wires

It doesn't matter what they look like, just route the 5 and 6 so they don't leave the distributor next to each other and they're at opposite ends of the separator looms the whole way down.

1991 Lx Transmission/clutch Concerns. Hard To Drive

I can practically guarantee it's the cable, and if you put a GOOD new one in it (like Maximum Motorsports, the only one made the same good way as the OEM one was), you'll stick your foot right through the floor like Fred Flintstone the first time you use it.
