    Where Should I Drill?

The hood release and speedo cable do not enter into the interior through the cowl grill area, do they? I want to go directly through the cowl grill bay into the interior if I can.

    Where Should I Drill?

I am writing for suggestions on where to drill in order to route a positive wire so I can power the lights for my 3 gauges mounted on the outside of the car on the cowl grill. My goal is to use the interior's dimmer switch so the lights on the gauges match those inside the car. But where is...

    Hatch Latch Snafu

Yes, I tried the trunk hatch release button with the ignition key in the on position - and it did not work.

    Hatch Latch Snafu

Ironically, my windshield wiper motor stopped in mid motion last night after using it in the rain for about an hour. I assume the wiper motor is also right next to where you say the "C203-Behind LH Cowl Panel" is located. In regards to C401, is it located on the hatch door itself? Looks like...

    Hatch Latch Snafu

Nope - the hatch release button in the glove compartment fails to actuate the hatch latch. I am hoping that the autobody shop just mixed up how they reconnected things in the hatch when they put it back on the car after the third brake light was re-installed. What do you think the problem is?

    Hatch Latch Snafu

Yes, the parking lights trigger the hatch latch. The parking lights do flash when I trigger the automatic door locks from remote. What are your thoughts?

    Hatch Latch Snafu

I got my 92 GT back from the shop today after a complete repainting and find that the latch for the rear hatch will actuate upon two events: 1) When the headlights turn on. 2) When the automatic door locks are actuated. So it sounds like the autobody shop did not hook-up all the electronics...

Do You Insulate a New Fiberglass Hood??

Thanks for the tips. I'm looking up "hoodliner" right now. Thanks for the feedback, BlackSun, it took me a lot of thinking before I committed to that stripe.

Do You Insulate a New Fiberglass Hood??

LOL - I might need to borrow your drill press soon! Seriously, after looking at the hood it seems to be begging for some hood-pins. What do you think?

Do You Insulate a New Fiberglass Hood??

I'm kinda tick'd now. Both the body shop and CERVINI's instructions failed to inform about "baking in" of the product before applying paint. Could it be that Cervini bakes them before shipping? Does anyone know?

Do You Insulate a New Fiberglass Hood??

Oooooops, it might be too late for me. My Cervini hood came right out of the box to the paint booth. It maybe had a little bit of Florida heat applied to it, but nothin more than 100 degrees of heat.

Do You Insulate a New Fiberglass Hood??

My thought about insulation is to protect the brand new paint from excessive heat. Is the insulation needed? Has anyone WITHOUT insulation had their paint job ruined?

Do You Insulate a New Fiberglass Hood??

My bitch is almost back (see photo), and I am curious with the new Cervini fiberglass hood if I should plan to insulate the underside of it. Do you folks that have a fiberglass hood have insulation on the underside? Thanks in advance.

Grill Insert, Hood, Spoiler, and Bumper Cover

Thank you - sweet looking ride you have there! I'll now have the challenge of convincing the body shop that a .25 inch gap is the way to go. I'm sure they'll charge me, so I hope its an easy fix.

Grill Insert, Hood, Spoiler, and Bumper Cover

I'm going from Ford Medium Red to a lighter GM Tourch Red, and the difference in the shade of colors is very noticable. Instead of the full-blown removal of engine, fenders, doors, etc., I opt'd for a standard application with all jams included. So far, there have been good results under...

Grill Insert, Hood, Spoiler, and Bumper Cover

My question today is in regards to the bumper insert in the attached photo. Is the gap between the new insert and the new Cervini hood too large? I think there is more than a half inch gap. I also noticed that the gaps between the hood and the fenders is much larger than the gaps when...
