    The "A" in the third position of the engineering number prefix is "Generic Ford". It is not make/model specific. In other words, all of those EnAE-6059-xx timing chain covers were originally engineered for a generic 198n Ford. Then they were used on many models for as long as they were needed...

    It is a 1 but it is supposed to be a 7. Whom ever was in charge of setting up the engineering number on the blocks that day at the foundy picked a 1 instead of a 7. No an uncommon mistake.

    The casting number of the cylinder head, which is shown in the fourth pic by the OP, is E6SE. It is not E6TE...there was no E6TE head.

    In the first thread you posted on this subject someone correctly pointed out that the "S" outside of the lower right corner of the valve cover boss on the heads means it is an E6SE head. If it were an E7TE head the letter would be "T" instead. The (lower left) corner where you found a number...

    1970machone has E6SE (not E6TE) heads, not E7TE heads.

    1991 Buc tag decoding

    Had to fix some bugs in the code so that decoder should work for this entire tag now.
