    Driving A Mustang Gets You Out Of Tickets

    Since I got my Mustang I've gone by cops going 20+ over and they never come after me. The only ticket I've got in the last year was driving my companies **** box honda accord. 12 miles over. That's what I get for trying to save miles on the Mustang. :notnice:

    Diablosport Predator question

    I modified my Diablo tune to max the spark advance on both RPM ranges. Not getting any pings and I do notice a slight improvement, especially in higher RPMs.

    I have a Predator that I've had for awhile now. I've been using the performance tune it came with, only adjusting for my gear ratio and turning off traction control. There are alot of threads on here about customizing the tune. Seems like what everyone recommends is maxing out the spark...

    I never do burnouts and only occassionally break traction on take-off. But I always shift over 3K and often shift over 5K if there's nobody in my ****ing way.

    You might consider going back to your stock isolators if you still have them. The tech at the shop where I had work done said the poly ones actually raise the height compared to stockers.

    I read about it in the Haynes manual. Doesn't look too hard. My pop has all that stuff, so I might see if I can use his. I think he's worried about the springs shooting out, though.

    What's the point of this thread? We all have the same size gas tanks don't we? I would think MPG would be a much more relevent discussion that ends with you either keeping you Mustang or buying a Prius.

    About 500 to spend

    I'm getting a set of Bilstein HDs. They are highly recommended by Maximum Motorsports. http://www.maximummotorsports.com/bilstein.asp I guess it depends on what you want to accomplish. For me, it's good reliable handling...not so much about lowering.
