Anyone have experience with the "reverse glow" gauge faces?

Thanks for the pics! I like those Eurolites, but I already ordered the EL gauges one I linked in my second post. I've heard of the Eurolites, but I never saw them any other place than Egay, and I won't shop there. The only knock I have on the ones I ordered is the center ring, but I'm going...

Anyone have experience with the "reverse glow" gauge faces?

I got the white one from EL Gauges...I don't particularly like the circle either, but I wouldn't say something so simple makes the diference in whether or not it looks "rice" or not. I guess I'll see for myself in a few days...I couldn't pass up the $39 shipped price.

    Noise In Rear End

Have you considered it might not be the rearend at all, and might be a problem with the drum brakes? I had a awful metal on metal grinding noise awhile back that turned out to be the adjusting lever having broken off and was rubbing against the drum... Just an idea... :)

Anyone have experience with the "reverse glow" gauge faces?

Thanks for the tip. I assume when you take off the nut, it's on top, and the bolt can fall out behind the cluster?

Anyone have experience with the "reverse glow" gauge faces?

Yeah, I'm not a fan of paypal or ebay, just too many horror stories for me. I'm sure there are a bunch of great deals to be had, but I prefer to just order from a merchant type website and just pay with my CC. Thanks again everyone, I'll let you know how these work out...

Anyone have experience with the "reverse glow" gauge faces?

Thanks _jb_ and everyone else. I think I'll go with the ones I listed above from elgauges. They are reasonbly priced with free shipping, and I never use ebay, so that's out of the question. Thanks again.. :)

Anyone have experience with the "reverse glow" gauge faces?

These look nice, and they are like 1/2 the price of UPR's, including free shipping. Anyone buy from here? http://www.elgauges.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=111 mustangjoe87 - Thanks for the info on UPR...

Anyone have experience with the "reverse glow" gauge faces?

I was cheking these out at UPR, and was thinking of picking up the reverse glow silver gauge faces for my '92 GT. I'm going to be tearing out dash soon as part of a cooling system overhaul, as well as installing a pair of 2 5/8" Autometer Ultra Lite gauges in the center A/C vent. I figure...

    Power steering bracket?

Just an FYI, if you are referring to this UPR A/C eliminator... http://www.uprproducts.com/shopping/shopexd.asp?id=387 That just replaces the compressor with a pulley to keep the stock belt length. You would still need your stock PS bracket...

    Power steering bracket?

If you don't have A/C, you should be able to pick up the Ford A/C delete kit. It comes with a new PS bracket to move it up where the A/C compressor was. ~$50. :)

Something doesn't make sense about my electrical.

Hissin already sort of answered this, but I thought my reply from another thread might help too since there seems to be a lot of confusion about the stock charging lead... :)

Something doesn't make sense about my electrical.

Ignition on, engine off. It's the lead for the voltmeter in the instrument cluster. If you have a problem there, it likely means the alternator is charging fine, but there is a problem with the dash voltage gauge or its lead. I may be wrong, but this might also signal a problem in the voltage...

    electric fan help

Not to step on anyone's toes, but IMO either way is fine with the old charging wire(s). It's probably best to do what jrichker suggested, and not connect them at all. However, if you did connect them, you would still be pretty safe because there are fused links on the old leads. The stock...

New FMS 'stock height' valve covers hit intake and throttle linkage

Two 1" spacers? One 1" spacers is good enough for the tall FMS covers...why would you need 2" of spacing for the slightly taller EFI covers?

    Aftermarket 28-splines

I replaced my stockers with the Superior 28's a few years back and I can't complain... I'm only running about 300RWHP now, and the car never sees the track or slicks...

NEED HELP-W/Mark VIII fan electrical connector!!!!!!

Ahh...good to know. It looks like you have it covered. I would be careful as I've heard that even the 130A 3G's sometimes have trouble with that fan without the DCC unit, but that PA is a great unit, and you might be fine. Regardless, it sounds like you've thought this through, just...
