Almost ready, what do you think of this setup??
sounds like you got solid information on the top end portion. I would suggest if you are using stock lower end components to at least upgrade the rod bolt to either ARP or a larger diameter. Seems to be a weakness on the 302 rods. Fairly inexpensive to do and well worth the few dollars.- fford

the answer is yes..and no. Depends on your tuning. I have a stock block that is pretty close to your specs and run a turbo pushing around 650 hp on 11 psi boost. worked fine until i forgot to put the rpm limiter chip in the MSD box and went past the tuning to about 6400 rpm, bye bye to the...- fford

T5 to AOD conversion
The reason I am looking to switch is due to the power level. I love my 5 spd but at 600 to the wheels @ 11 psi and looking to upgrade the block to a dart so I can get around 1,000 hp @ the wheels the swap seems to be inevitable. T5 to AOD conversion
I have searched for a thread for a fox stang to convert from 5 spd to auto with not much luck. I found a ton for the other way around. My question is the shift cable and shifter for the AOD how would you route it and how does the cable on the mustang throttle body go to the trans?- fford

New to the 5.0 scene
Mine has an aftermarket chip burned in at the dyno session. Once the dyno technician burns the program in my case he left it in open loop and does not run lean at all, if follows the tuning program and the only thing my o2 sensors do now is plug the holes. :)- fford

Tuning Question
I had a 302, systemax intake, comp cam, 24 lb inj, bbk short equal length headers, forged pistons. I had some drivablility issues with surging and stalling. The motor really pulled over 3000 but felt weak under that. I spent the money for the chip and dyno tune. It drove and idled like new...- fford
