    Strut Conversion

I have installed the RRS struts in my 66 and must say the ride is far superior to the stock items.......even with the shelby drop. Would strongly recommend fitting a 1" anti sway bar as well. Marshall

Ozestang, I bought my elect windows thru Haneline Morongo Valley CA, i think, most of the US retailers can get them....I usually import such items myself. They're heavy and you should get a price on the airfreight before they send them. I shipped them thru Roley Leahy on the Gold Coast. It...

    modern dash in 66

I had a desire to get my car featured in Mustang & Ford magazine - despite twice sending them some tempting pics of the innovations it didn't even rate a response. I am told that American magazines are not interested in publishing articles on cars in other countries. Thats a shame because we...

the pic of the underside of my car shows the cutting and plating I did to fit the jag. mounted it on rubber engine mounts because thats how they attach to jaguars (have a look under one and you'll see). otherwise only thing needed is a new tailshaft with the jag fitting at the back end (be...

Jaguar diffs come in a range of ratios depending on the model, they are not (to my knowledge) interchangeable with other manufacturers gears. As the jag is 4" wider than the origional backspacing is 2" more on each wheel, this means the wheel centre is right on the outside of the wheel, just...

It might surprise you but some of us do our own work, and what is wrong with the quest for perfection - even under a road car.

Only in a minor way, I cut about 4" off each side if the cradle which the springs mount to as does the diff centre section. cutting the pieces off allowed the cradle to fit between the Mustang subframes where the origional differential was. The pieces cut off did not interfere with any of...
