Giving head is illegal in some states too but you don't see anyone giving you a hard time here, do you?

Oh man, sorry, I couldn't help myself!
I am no expert either, but let me give this a shot.
Variable Cam Timing (VCT) works by adjusting the timing according to throttle position, RPMs, and load. This is a great way to make good torque down low by retarding the cams as well as increasing fuel mileage. The fact that people are...
Cam phaser limiters don't help torque, they take it away. Their purpose is to limit the amount of variable cam timing in order to prevent piston to valve clearance issues. FRPP does not recommend the use of either limiters or lockouts with the hot rod cams.
The second pull is actually to 6200, it just so happens that this is the part of the graph he printed, I guess you can't view the whole thing at once? As to why he didn't pull it any farther, I have no idea. Could have something to do with hm telling me that the rods in these motors don't like...
OK, hopefully I don't miss anything here.
Yes my gas mileage has definitely improved, about 2.5 all around but I think when I get some highway miles I will see big mpg gains there. I haven't done enough highway driving with them yet to know for sure.
On the final dyno pull my car was still...
A little too early to tell but so far it looks like I have picked up between 2.5 - 3 mpg. This is a new product so reliability is a big question mark at this point.
Funny you should mention that, nitrous is next on my list.
You are correct about the springs, the only parts that went in my car were the cams, 2 new cam phaser bolts, new valve cover gaskets, and stock valve covers that I painted ahead of time.
I have been trying for months to get these cams and they are finally in. Gains are 47 RWHP and 22 RWTQ. These are a little inflated because the final pull was to 6200 and the baseline was only to 6000 rpms. The curve shows the hp still increasing at 6200. Needless to say I am thrilled about the...
I know everyone swears by the J&M LCAs, but I have them with the relocation brackets and they squeak constantly at low speeds. It probably is worse because I have a vert which creates more flex in the chassis I guess.
Anyone know where I can get a set of stock covers so I can paint them ahead of time and have them put on when my cams get installed next week? If anyone has their motor apart for some reason and would send me theirs, I could send mine back to replace them. My car only has 11,000 fair weather...
I am having my car dyno tuned and will no longer be using the SCT tuner or my Brenspeed tunes. Can I just unload the Brenspeed tune from my car and then sell the tuner? I bought it with the C&L racer intake which I am keeping, is the tune specific to that intake? If anyone has bought a used one...
