    I wish I saved the picture, but someone took apart their zex 'management unit' and it was just some cheap looking Parker solenoid setup stuffed in a shiny box. Just have good WOT/window/fpss switches and trustable solenoids and the rest is in the tune.

    +1 Has to be a blown gasket or cracked head. You really made things worse though by nearly doubling the amount of oil in the engine.. very bad things happen if you just top an engine off with oil because of the massive amounts of pressure and stress put on the oil pump.

    I agree with thomas on the EGT gauge, I'd say its more important and accurate than an AFR gauge. The FP gauge is a good idea, but for as much as they cost you should get the EGT, assuming you already have a FP safety switch for the nitrous to do emergency monitoring on the pump in case it goes...

    If you're NA, there is no gain to be had by increasing your fuel pressure. I dont think any of the 4.6L mustangs even have fuel pressure regulators (96-98 may, I cant recall for sure).

    Thats not bad and its nothing to worry about. I had a groove much much deeper in mine before I went to 13" equipment. Its usually caused by a tiny rock or something getting stuck between the pad and rotor. Its not dangerous at all, and technically grooves in the rotors will help you...

    Unless you're up to some pretty high mileage, there is no need to replace them. If you're going to do it anyway, PLEASE get the FORD parts and not Motive.

    Increase timing.. affects?

    There downside for increasing timing is higher likelyhood of detonation. But what has been regarded as the best method for setting the best timing is to increase it one degree at a time until you start hearing pinging, then back it off 2 degrees.
