    Its really only going to happen when you get on it hard. What happens is you run so lean up top that it over heats the and ignites the fuel air mixture before it's ready too. This happens while your pistons trying to compress the mixture. When it pre-ignites it tries shoving it back down...

    What did everyone pay for their superchargers?

    Got my tuner kit from www.superchargersonline.com for like 2850 for a polished kit. 300 less for satin. I'd just get a tuner kit then pic your tuner and fuel system. The stock chips with most blowers are horrible.

    Coulda sworn it was a power "point" in the documentation, regardless, the one near the shifter were you can plug cell phone chargers and such into isnt working.

    I saw it in person, definately a nice job on the install. I guess it still needs a tune as theres driveability issues but it was a bad ass car and nothing that anyone expected to see when they walked by the saleen section of the MU show.

    Forgot to add.. Make sure you wash the pillar in a LOT of detergant before spraying it.

    Yeah, go to your ford dealership. They can provide the EXACT color your looking for, but it takes 7 days to get it in. Think it was 14 bucks for a can of it. Just take your time and put on quite a few even coats and it'll come out nice.

    Have any of you guys had a power point fail on ya?? The one near my shifter decided to quit on me a couple weeks ago. Any ideas? Anyone know which fuse they are? The one in the console works fine too.. just the front one.

    plan to buy GT+ Vortech !!!

    either blowers will rock your world. The KB is instant torque and full boost at low RPM. The Vortech lets ya get off the line then slams the poor passengers in thier seats. The Paxton flows more than the Vortech, comes with the intercooler, and is easier to maintain (read.. replace belts)...

    The hardware will mount up no problem. I think the instruction manual is the same for the 96-02 cars (bought mine in 02.. sure it says 04 now) There were a few differences in pulleys, bolt lengths, ect.. between the different motors used, but it shouldnt take much to get it mounted up.     Lookin the same here for me, only for the show now.. friggin UPS missed my fuel pumps 2 days in a row.. 110 bucks to ship the things and they dont pick em up after thier office calls twice. Shipped em USPS instead, but I dont know if I'll have em back by the car show.
