    My '91 didn't have a rivet, maybe somebody got there before me :rolleyes: It's a pretty easy task, I even went so far as to "re-key" the new cylinder to accept my door key :D

    Why would anybony drill and tap a hole

    on the intake side of a throttle body? I got one off of fleabay and there's a hole about 5/16 thread through the body near the end where the boot would go. It has obviously been added later. Any clues?

    Cut a swirl in the EGR?

    Think it would make a difference? I have a 65mm TB, and a 67mm EGR to put on my stock intake. I noticed the opening on the intake is only 63.5mm, might just open that up too. We used to do stuff like that to our bikes when I was racing them thinking that the additional air motion would help...

    Speedometer not working

    My LX did that after I moved the speedo cable to put a clutch pedal in. there was a magnet that drives the needle and it was getting hung up, made a slight ringing noise on occasion also. Bought a new gage cluster and it's good now.

    There are a couple little differences in the WC/NWC cases, I don't know if it will hamper your plan or not. Why not just use a 4cyl WC case?

    My '91 was doing that and it was the IAC valve. I got some throttle body cleaner and got all the crud out of it. No more problems :D

    I guess my '91 5.0 is newer...:rlaugh: It's my DD though. tons of fun while I get my '66 done (slowly...:rolleyes: ) Although, I've been working on the Fox more than the Coupe lately. helps prevent burnout and keeps my interest high.:D

    I made a set of wedges, even made angled washers so the bolts wouldn't bend when I tightened the ball joint. You need a certain type of ball joint so the grease zerk is accessible IIRC. I saw Opentrackers method and did away with the wedges. Having done both, I'm not sure which would be more...
