Did some searches, armed with info I was expecting a colossal struggle so I planned to tackle this part of a T5/AOD swap just to get it over with.
I had the old hanger out and the new one wiggled in, in less than 1/2 an hour...(once I got it loose)
It would have been MUCH easier if I had taken out the steering column rather than just leave it hanging, but I usually will work harder to avoid a little work ...
I think the hardest part was the speedo cable re-routing
It's still not in right, the needle jumps drastically. I think I'll undo the trans end so I can pull it out further, then install it, put the dash back together and re-install it in the trans.
