    you adjusted the stops to have maximum play and it STILL won't go into gear? hmm...i don't have any experience with shifters. Maybe it has something to do with the bearing? is the bearing in the tranny below the shifter installed properly?

    weelll, i dunno..motives are notorious for whine. I mean, rumors like this don't just get around for no reason.. even on craigslist and stuff, the major selling point of the FRPP is 'does not whine'..i just don't trust motives.     I'm getting geared hopefully within 3 months for track season. I like the 4:10s, but i'm gonna be going with the 3:73. I figure, if the 4:10s are at average a 3 mpg loss, i should have a .5-1mpg loss with the 3:73. Also i can't stick as is at the track, let alone 4:10.

    heck no man, i don't have flows on my car, but i run MAC flowpaths. I'll tell you for sure Flows are better than magnaflow though even though i'm not a die hard flowmaster fan.     The quads stabalize the rear end alignment? anyway, did it fix your problem? I'd think i'd take it to a body shop, they probably see things like this frequently. Maybe you can report the problem back to us beause i've heard of this sort of thing happening a lot but never read a solution.
