    I meant tread pattern. Do the nitto 555 and 555r somewhat match? I know the compounds are different but was just curious if it mattered to have different tread pattern for a daily driver. I know what I want to say but I guess it didn't come out right as usual. LOL

    Sweet!! Thanks for the reply and helping make my decision. Hmmmm.....I wonder if it would be worth it to get the DR for the rear.....would they somewhat match tread for the fronts - Nitto 555 and 555r?

    I'm going to be getting new tires soon - I currently have 245/40/18 on the 18x8.5 rim. Is it possible to go to a 265/35/18 on the same 18x8.5 rim? I'm going to be getting Nitto NT555 Extremes if that helps. Thanks in advance!!

    Yes use the sending unit the oil came with its a cylinder shaped item. Off the top of my head I believe we had t use one of the temp fitting it came with. He put it on I didnt but I believe he had to use on of the adapters.

    UPDATE: The gauges now work. For some reason, the ground wire on temp gauge was on sender post and sender was on ground post - once I switched that - the gauge worked, but was still not working - the oil sat at around 30 and did nothing - but the temp would fluctuate from 180 to 250...
