    How to get around 40 more engine HP?

    I've always heard 20% drivetrain loss on an auto and 15% loss with a stick. Is that right or not??? :shrug: That would make your flywheel hp 279.3 on an auto, which agrees with the approx 20 hp gain estimated for your mods as quoted by one of the other guys here. :doh:

    Widest tires on OEM's

    I agree with everything Bob says about following Mfgr's recommendations except the above quote. Putting a too wide tire on a narrow rim will pull the sidewalls in.     I got mine from www.mustangtuning.com for $405 including shipping. I emailed them asking for a price quote, cheaper than the price given on the site. :nice: I agree, much better throttle response but no real SOTP improvement below 3000 rpm. At WOT and over 3000 rpm it's a different story...
