    you should be able to buy those fittings at any auto parts store. They will be by the vacuum fittings and such.

    Which belt? The blower belt or the Serpentine belt? I had to buy a new Serpentine belt because the one they sent was wrong. To get the blower belt on try taking the idler assembly off completely and then get the belt in place, then reinstall the idler assembly.

    Does the light stay on no matter the RPM of the car? Dont take the alternator testing good off the car as meaning it is good. I had an alternator test fine on the bench and end up being the problem, whether it was the regulator or alt.

    Yes, if the GT40s you have are iron heads. An NGK TR55 would also work.

    Taillights stay on

    Is it your taillights or your brake lights? If its your brake lights either your brake light switch has gone bad or the part on your brake peddle that the switch contacts has broken off. See if you can stick your head up there and check it out.
