    Fan clutch... ?

    the fan clutch sits inside of the fan, and the shaft connects to the pulley and the pulley connects to the water pump. The newer fan clutches make the holes slotted so its easier to line up, which is a big difference from my expierence.

    I broke the bolts when i was installing my valve covers. Now they are leaking. I was wondering if you guys know where I can buy a stud kit with nuts instead of bolts for the valve covers. If not the bolts will be fine, or T-handle bolts for the vavle covers. Thanks. I have the ford racing cobra...

    i had white smoke before and it was caused because i put the thermostat gasket on the wrong way so check that if u replaced the t-stat

    This happened to be, but NONE of the hardware stores locally or home depot or anyone had the bolts, i belive they needed to be 7 inches long and they only went up to 6, so i went to boltdepot.com to get the bolts, so if you run into any problem with bolt sizes go there

    Ever have an H-pipe make "cling cling" noises?

    yeah the cats are shot...either pieces broke off inside and are bouncing around or the heat shield is shot. My guess would be since its the original cats that they are no good. Also one of the clamps that is on the actual H pipe on mine came loose and caused the same sound so check that too.

    doesnt oil pressure drop a little once its heated up and flowing?
