vavle cover qustion

I broke the bolts when i was installing my valve covers. Now they are leaking. I was wondering if you guys know where I can buy a stud kit with nuts instead of bolts for the valve covers. If not the bolts will be fine, or T-handle bolts for the vavle covers. Thanks. I have the ford racing cobra black valve covers if that makes a difference. Thanks

First off did you get the old bolts out? Then you can get some arp fasteners or the t handle ones. How tight are you tightening them? Sounds like you went a little crazy.

i did the same thing a few months ago. changed vc's and they kept leaking. a little tighter.....snap! bolts were too long because the vc's were thinner than the prev ones. got a moroso stud kit from local speed shop. like 13.00

i didnt make them tight at all....i think the gaskets were too thick to begin with.....where can i get the arp ones?

It doesn't take much to overdue on the valve cover bolt tightening especially with cork gaskets because you feel like you can keep going I did it
