    I am staying efi btw. I guess a 408 w/ afr 205's, and the rest wouldnt be bad either i just never put any thought towards it for some reason i just had 331 set in my mind. I was gonna change motor mounts, exhaust and that stuff out anyways.

    Looking for a project right now- 4cyl-302 conversion

    Im glad i did it, have a great sense of pride for my car because i have pretty much rebuilt it and its basically a solid new car after all the good stuff i put back in it. I did mine over the wnter, took up both garage spots with the cars and took my time. No real rush when theres snow outside.

    Spec 1 here too, it has never slipped on me not even launching on nitrous wot on et drags. The clutch will last longer then your t5 will.

    Cheapest way for 5 lug all around....

    Check 5.0resto, saw they have a conversion kit w/ everything including royal purple for $400. Not sure what thier using but its nice thats it a complete kit. Im doing a 5lug conv this winter except moser axles spool etc., might as well put in the good stuff while its torn down.

    Why does timing affect cranking though? Thats what i'd like to know, not like compression changes how does the starter pick up on it when its just either power on or off no other input :shrug:

    If theres too much timing it will only crank a inch or 2 at a time kind of romping, if its heatsoaked from longtubes i think it does the same thing. I put a heat shield/blanket around mine and dont have any cranking issues it just wont fire after it warms up different problems.

    I decided to go with 28's i can get them from an LS1 buddy really cheap, ill just get an maf for 30's along with a adj.fpr and turn it up a bit. Thanks alot guys.

I saw they have a small box that piggybacks the maf and lets you adjust but its pretty vague as to what sizes or if you have to be on a dyno and play with a/f ratio to set it right.     reccomended clutch that wont destory T-5

    Spec Stg 1 here with a t5. The spec is on its 3rd t5 (they were all crappy ones laying around besdies my current t5) and still hasnt missed a beat, i launched on nitrous wot with et drags and dead hooked everytime. I think itsa great combo no need for anymore clutch on a t5 and any less for me...

    Hell this good news then, mileage is not a concern. The only time i drive it is good weather when i feel like it and at the track. I was afraid it wouldnt run very good and try to flood on startups.

    Im stepping up my dry kit to push alot of nitrous and need to use 30lb injectors. My question is how bad will they effect my normal driving and n/a performance? Mods are in my sig except i will also be adding a 75mm tb and egr, 76mm maf for 30's and a 255fuel pump so ill still be on stock heads...

    whats the easiest way to "roll" the rear inner fenders???

    Ive heard the ball bat method works, most people here cut it out. Im a dumbass and was in a hurry so i used a sledghammer and a 16oz hammer. Worked great no exterior body damage HOWEVER the paint chipped and some on the fender lip came off if you look close you can see bare metal :bang: ohwell...
