    Final Products for Dual Exhausts

KnOx' buddy! You have a V6, you don't want to waste your $ on high-flow cats for a GT (not sure they would align right anyway). The stock V6 cats are fine. The Pypes "X" pipe attaches to the rear of the stock cats. You will need the "mid pipes" as mentioned above. ATs are nice...

What are must haves for the V6 from the dealer? ? ? ?

Whatever you can get from the dealer to "sweeten" the deal is good. Maybe they will toss in the "power package" for free? Start with the Pony package, lots of nice ammenities, rims, trim, etc etc. Do a search on "Pony package" somebody has a list of goodies out there. I have a V6...

Looking to buy an 08 as a daily driver. Good or bad idea?

Mine is my daily driver. I commute 190 miles a day from VT to MA. I also do 1-2 Mustang Cruises each month during summer months (300-500 miles each). This car is the most fun to drive of all my vehicles. Of course, in REALLY bad weather, I just call in sick. SOHC

    black rims

I think all black would be slick. The website doesn't do justice to the combos for black rims on a Vista Blue stang. Anybody seen one in person? Black looks good on most color stangs, but the website kinda makes it look "tuner" in VB... SOHC

Is it okay to have a wheel stick out past the fender just ever so slightly?

Good point. Forgot about that now that I live in the country.

Is it okay to have a wheel stick out past the fender just ever so slightly?

As long as when your suspension compresses you don't slam your fender into the sidewall of your tires! My buddy has a 5.0 with meaty tires in back... The edges are chewed up where they contact the fender over nasty bumps. If your suspension gives you clearance, you're OK. Don't want to...

    Removing dealer sticker

The wife is into scrapbooking and she has this little plastic tool that looks like a pencil with a flat blade and rounded edges. Hot sunny day, lifted up the edges with the tool and pulled the vinyl off. Easy, of course there were over 30 letters and the logo, so it took a few minutes!

MASS. BILL TO BAN AFTERMARKET EXHAUST

MA is the worst state I've ever had to live in. This is what they spend the tax payer money on instead of fixing the roads, patroling the cities and dealing with trash disposal. :notnice:

    89 octane+93 octane tune=?

Just don't push your engine hard or let it "lug" in gear, as it will probably "ping" like crazy... You might want to put an 89 octane tune in for the few hundred miles you have left on your tank. You should be fine.

Hammonasset Beach Mustang Cruise (CT), Sunday, September 23, 2007

You will find the BOMC is a very active club with a monthly cruise through the good weather, and "wings nights" through the winter. Since I am from 100+ miles north of CT, I have also started a Mustang Club built along the same principles. Cruising and enjoying your Stang, not competition...

    add-ons are crazy expensive

We actually have it pretty good. Some parts are a little high... wait and they'll come down a few bucks. Don't wait, and enjoy your car now. What's $20? The more we buy, the more different products they design. And we have the benefit of many parts fitting both the V6 and GT...

Mustang "Chocolate Cruise" Sun 9/30 for my Grandaughter

Hi Guys, Sunday I have a small Mustang Cruise for my Grandaughter planned through VT and NH. I'm calling it the "Chocolate Cruise" since we are stopping at Burdicks in NH at the end. She loves Mustangs and she wasn't able to make it to our last Cruise down in CT, so I made up an...
