Shopping Cart + Rear Fender = $750 in damage

I used to live in Germany...they did it right there. You put a coin in the cart when you got it out, and got your coin back when you replaced the cart to its proper location.

Shopping Cart + Rear Fender = $750 in damage

Yup, people are haters. Dude smacked my car on purpose then climbed into his bombed out 1990's Astro van with a **** eating grin on his face. Whatever... :loser:

Shopping Cart + Rear Fender = $750 in damage

A pic for your viewing pleasure. I thought about using my ins to file a comprehensive claim as my deduct is only $250. Not sure if the savings would be worth the long term effects on my policy though?

Shopping Cart + Rear Fender = $750 in damage

This is what happens when inconsiderate people who drink haterade all day long and suck at life let a shopping cart smack your car and leave the scene. To make it worse I was parked ALL THE WAY out in the last spot. I spoke to the manager of the store, security cameras picked up nothing...

    Chin Spoiler'd 2010...nice.

gotcha...makes sense. I'm more of a "one color" kinda guy, which is why I suggested it. :)

    Chin Spoiler'd 2010...nice.

I think it would look better (and the side skirts too) if they were all painted to match the car, but that's just me. Looks good though, and glad it's not one of those ridiculous chin spoilers that look like a locomotive front end from the 1800's, just in case a cow jumps in front of your car...

    Shaker 1000 and Navigation system

^^ +1 Use the Nav on your phone. It has a map, voice direction, and is portable so you can take it from car to car, or use it on foot. And it's cheap too. I don't know why car companies are touting elaborate Nav systems like they are such a huge upgrade when I can get the same features on a...

My mechanic said: just deal with it (brakes)

I figure my next mod is going to be the brakes. New rotors, pads...should run around $600-ish. I could do the whole CAI and tuner thing, but I'd rather have better brakes for now :)

RUSTY Rear Axle on the New Mustang GAG!

SO, you are saying the rust is ok? The fact that other cars, cheaper cars, other muscle cars don't have rust is not a factor? When does it not become ok? Where do "cheap parts" stop becoming ok? What if other parts of the car are cheaply manufactured? I've never been a fan of mediocrity...

You think slotted over cross drilled? I saw Powerslot had some good pricing on the American Muscle page, maybe I'll look into those. The rotors on my bike are cross drilled, but then again they only have to stop hundreds of pounds, not thousands..

My mechanic said: just deal with it (brakes)

^^ exactly. If I drove like "normal people" aka conservatively, I'd have no issues. However, I do not. :) Something about this car turns me into a maniac

My mechanic said: just deal with it (brakes)

thanks all... so many priorities...I was on the Stillen website and they have a good deal on cross drilled/slotted rotors and pads, which ironically is about the same price as the stupid air compressor that is needed for my SUV (cause it tapped out and needs replacing). Damn priorities...

My mechanic said: just deal with it (brakes)

Took my car for an oil change today, also brought the brakes to the attention of my mechanic. When you decelerate quickly you can feel a slight pulsing in the pedal, and I can almost hear it too. Today I would get the car up to speed, throw it in neutral and brake, trying to feel/listen for...
